SEO for mortgage brokers
Rank for the mortgage searches people in your city actually make, and keep getting leads after the ads stop.
SEO is the long game of mortgage marketing. It will not get you a lead this week. What it does is build a site that shows up when someone in your area searches for the exact product you write, and keeps showing up month after month without a per-click bill. For brokers who plan to be in the business for years, it is the best money they will spend.
- Local and product pages written for real searches
- Technical fixes: speed, mobile, structure, tracking
- Google Business Profile set up and maintained
SEO for brokers, in 40 seconds
Not for "mortgage rates". For the searches people in your city actually make, and what a year of it looks like.
What mortgage broker SEO actually involves
Pages people search for
Not "about us" and "our services". Pages like "mortgage broker in Kitchener", "HELOC for self-employed in Ontario", "mortgage after bankruptcy in Alberta". One page per real search, written properly, with your licensing details where required.
A site Google can read
Most brokerage template sites are slow, built for desktop, and have three pages that all say the same thing. We fix speed, mobile layout, titles, structure and the tracking that tells you which page produced which lead.
Your Google Business Profile
For a broker with an office, the map results are where local leads come from. Reviews, categories, photos and regular posts move you up that list faster than anything on your website.
Content that earns trust
Guides that answer what borrowers in your province ask: stress test changes, renewal strategy, what a B lender is. Written in plain language, reviewed by you, published under your name.
How SEO fits with paid campaigns
We rarely recommend SEO alone to a broker who needs leads this quarter. The pattern that works: Facebook ads for volume now, Google ads for high-intent products, and SEO building underneath so that in a year the paid budget is a choice rather than a necessity. Everything is month to month, explained on the how it works page.

Questions brokers ask us
How long does SEO take for a mortgage broker?
Expect three to six months before pages start ranking for local terms, and a year before it is a meaningful share of your leads. It is the slowest channel and the only one that keeps paying after you stop spending.
Can a solo mortgage agent rank against the banks?
Not for "mortgage rates", and you should not try. You can absolutely rank for "mortgage broker in Barrie", "self-employed mortgage Surrey" or "private second mortgage Edmonton". Local and specific beats big and generic.
Do I need a new website?
Sometimes. If your brokerage gave you a template page that loads slowly and cannot be edited, yes. If you have a site you control, we usually add pages and fix the technical issues rather than starting over.
What about Google Business Profile?
If you have a real office address, your Google Business Profile is the fastest local win there is. Reviews, photos, posts and a consistent name, address and phone number across the web. We set it up and show you how to keep it fed.
Is SEO part of a managed campaign?
It can be. Many brokers start with Facebook or Google ads for leads now and add SEO once the campaign is paying for itself. We talk through the order on the strategy call.
